About The Position

The Licensed Clinical Social Worker - Outpatient Behavioral Health will provide emotional support, crisis intervention, and counseling for Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults, Older Adults, and their significant others. This role involves helping individuals cope with social and emotional problems, providing information and referrals, and assisting with financial assistance and supportive services related to treatment, illness, disability, or trauma. The position also includes case management, milieu management, completing psychosocial assessments, assisting in the development and re-evaluation of Treatment Plans, working as part of an interdisciplinary team, and coordinating discharge planning. Additionally, the role requires completing necessary documentation and maintaining clinical records for each client.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, or related field.
  • Required upon hire and maintain current license in accordance with state regulations (or current registration/clinical supervision if licensure is not required).
  • Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
  • Minimum one (1) year Inpatient or Outpatient Behavioral Health experience.
  • Experience working with a diverse population with a wide range of problems (e.g., death and dying, maternal and child care, substance abuse, disability, chronic illness).

Nice To Haves

  • Licensed Clinical Counselor or related field is highly preferred.

Responsibilities
