About The Position

Boston Children's Health Physicians is looking to hire a Full Time Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our Mental Health and Wellness division in Clifton Park, New York. The position requires a professional who is experienced, warm, flexible, adaptable, and able to address a variety of patient needs, age groups, and diverse backgrounds. This is a full-time position.

Requirements

Master's degree in social work or counseling
Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LCSW or LMHC) in New York
Ability to establish rapport and build therapeutic relationships with children and adolescents from diverse backgrounds
At least two years' experience providing therapy to children and adolescents utilizing evidence-based treatment modalities
Strong knowledge of child development
Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks
Strong verbal and written communication skills, organizational skills, knowledge of best practices working with children and families.
Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LCSW or LMHC) license
Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LCSW or LMHC) in New York

Responsibilities

Provide individual and/or family therapy to children and adolescents
Utilize evidence-based treatment modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectal Behavior Therapy, Play Therapy, and Art Therapy, to address the unique needs of each client.
Complete and maintain all required documentation in a timely manner using the Electronic Health Record system
Participate in regular clinical supervision and team meetings to enhance professional growth and ensure quality care
