About The Position

This role is within Social Services and focuses on providing clinical services to adults with mental health and/or substance use disorders. The position requires specific licensure and experience, with a focus on community mental health settings. The candidate must be eligible for Qualified Mental Health Professional status and obtain a Substance Abuse Treatment Specialist credential within 120 days of hire. Additionally, a CAADC credential or an approved MCBAP certification Development Plan is required within six weeks of hire. The role demands strong clinical assessment, client engagement, and intervention skills, as well as a valid Chauffeurs license and adherence to the agency's driving eligibility requirements.

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology or Counseling.
  • LMSW, LLP or LPC licensure from the State of Michigan.
  • All state licensure must continually remain active, in effect, and free from disciplinary action.
  • A minimum of two (2) years of experience treating adults with mental health and/or substance use disorders.
  • Eligible for a Qualified Mental Health Professional at the time of hire.
  • Possess a CAADC credential, or be on an active, approved registered MCBAP certification Development Plan within six weeks of hire.
  • Possess and retain a Chauffeurs license.
  • Meet the driving eligibility requirements as defined by the agency’s current insurance policy.
