Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
About The Position
The Licensed Clinical Social Worker will provide telehealth services to clients across New Jersey, including adults, teens, couples, and families. The role involves assessing clients’ personal, family, and social histories; helping them address emotional, relationship, and everyday concerns; documenting clinical information in an EHR; and identifying when outside resources or additional services may be helpful. The LCSW will communicate with other professionals involved in a client’s care when appropriate, respond to changing needs or safety concerns, maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality, and practice in accordance with New Jersey LCSW requirements. This is a full-time weekday position, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with an annual salary of $115,000–$120,000.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.
- Active LCSW license in New Jersey.
- Experience providing therapy via telehealth or in outpatient settings.
- Comfort using technology for sessions and documentation.
- Strong clinical judgment and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Meet with adults, teens, couples, and families through virtual appointments.
- Review clients’ personal, family, and social history when beginning care.
- Help clients work through emotional, relationship, and day-to-day concerns.
- Record key clinical information in the EHR.
- Recognize when outside resources or additional services may be useful.
- Communicate with other professionals involved in a client’s care when appropriate.
- Respond to changes in client needs or safety concerns.
- Maintain professional boundaries and client confidentiality.
- Practice in accordance with New Jersey LCSW requirements.
