About The Position
Adelphi is seeking a licensed clinical social worker to provide services at a correctional facility in North Carolina. The role involves providing social work services to mentally ill offenders, including individual and group counseling, overseeing programming for behavior modification, and aftercare planning. The position is located in Maury, NC, and is a contract role with an ongoing length, starting ASAP. The shift schedule is Monday-Friday, 8 am-5 pm.
Requirements
- NC License
- Master's degree
- 1 year of experience
- ACLS and BLS
Responsibilities
- Provide social work services to mentally ill offenders housed at selected facilities in NC.
- Provide individual counselling and group counselling.
- Oversee programming for behavior modification and aftercare planning for offenders who have completed their sentences.
- Accept obligations of scheduled assignments and perform all other duties as requested by the facility.
