About The Position

Achieve Beyond is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team in Queens, NY. This role focuses on helping children with special needs reach their goals by providing evaluations and ongoing services in homes, communities, and clinic settings. Achieve Beyond fosters a culture of collaboration and support, ensuring high-quality services and adherence to strong ethical standards. We offer a range of services including ABA, Speech, Occupational, Social Work, and Physical therapy, as well as Special Education/SEIT services, serving children and families across the New York metropolitan area, Virginia/DC area, Maryland, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Delaware. Requirements

• Must have a passion for working with children and families!
• NYS Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
• Must be self-motivated and a team player who exercises patience and professionalism
• Must be able to travel to and from assigned cases, including but not limited to: Driving a personal vehicle, walking and/or the use of public transportation such as a bus or train.
• The ability to ascend and descend staircases.
• The ability to lift 10 pounds regularly.
• The ability to sit on the floor, kneel and/or crawl for extended periods of time.

Nice To Haves

• Experience evaluating children birth - 5 preferred but not required.
• Familiar with using evaluation tools such as ADOS 2 or CARS 2.
• EI Evaluations program requires completion of the EILN Intro and Advanced Assessment trainings.
• Fluency in a language other than English is a plus!

Responsibilities

• Administer Psychological Evaluations in home and/or school based settings
• Gather necessary information to conduct social histories
• Write comprehensive evaluation reports and social histories and submit them in a timely manner
• Write Individualized Educational Plan (IEP) and/or Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) goals
• Determine need for additional assessment per observation and child need
• Conduct evaluations in the primary language of the child
• Maintain child records and confidentiality of information regarding children and families (in accordance with HIPAA, state and federal regulations)
• Submit required records within the established timelines
