Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
About The Position
The Licensed Clinical Social Worker will provide telehealth services to clients across New Jersey. Clients may include adults, teens, couples, and families seeking support for emotional, relationship, school-related, or day-to-day concerns. The role includes conducting virtual appointments, reviewing clients’ personal, family, and social histories, documenting clinical information in the EHR, and coordinating with other professionals when appropriate. The LCSW will respond to changing client needs and safety concerns, maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality, and practice in accordance with New Jersey LCSW requirements. This is a full-time position with a weekday schedule of Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The annual salary is $115,000–$120,000.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.
- Active LCSW license in New Jersey.
- Experience providing therapy via telehealth or in outpatient settings.
- Comfort using technology for sessions and documentation.
- Strong clinical judgment and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Meet with adults, teens, couples, and families through virtual appointments.
- Review clients’ personal, family, and social histories when beginning care.
- Help clients work through emotional, relationship, and day-to-day concerns.
- Record key clinical information in the EHR.
- Recognize when outside resources or additional services may be useful.
- Communicate with other professionals involved in clients’ care when appropriate.
- Respond to changes in client needs or safety concerns.
- Maintain professional boundaries and client confidentiality.
- Practice in accordance with New Jersey LCSW requirements.
