About The Position

Cape Fox Mission Systems is seeking experienced Behavioral Health professionals to provide advanced support services to the US Army in developing and implementing a tailored Health & Wellness Program that enhances the psychological readiness of the US Army personnel. We are seeking an experienced LCSW. This is a highly critical and rewarding position.

Requirements

Master's or Doctorate Degree from a Council Social Worker Education (CSWE) Accredited School
A minimum of four (4) years within the past five (5) years in the practice of clinical social work post licensure, preferably in a government setting such as a DoD or Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) providing clinical services to individuals, couples or groups in psychotherapy services
Experience in behavioral interventions, critical incident event management, public speaking, and case management.
Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a licensed clinical social worker in any State, the District of Columbia, Guam, Puerto Rico or US Virgin Islands.
Possess and maintain current course completion documentation for Basic Life Support (BLS) through an American Heart Association and/or Red Cross approved training program.
Ability to practice at the independent level without requiring state mandated clinical supervision and demonstrate a working knowledge of professional standard and ethics requiring delivery of social work services.
Ability to effectively communicate with individuals and groups of diverse backgrounds, including enlisted personnel, officers, senior military and civilian leadership, spouses and other family members.
Well versed in crisis debriefing, traumatic event counseling, individual and family counseling, case management, and training.
Ability to develop, prepare, and present formal briefings and speeches to INSCOM leadership (at all echelons).
Demonstrated ability to build collaborative relationships internally and externally and work as part of a team with maturity, professionalism, positive attitude, tact and good judgment.
Ability to use Microsoft Office programs, such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Secret Clearance preferred but will get for the right candidate. Will upgrade to a TS/SCI once secret clearance is obtained.

Responsibilities

Practice within the guidelines of their state licensing board, American Psychological Association Ethical Principles and Code of Conduct, and MTF privileges.
Comply with appropriate Army OTSG/MEDCOM, DHA, and/or Combatant Command Force Heath Protection policies for deployment assessments.
Conduct psychological evaluations utilizing information from clinical interviews, and collateral sources, as appropriate.
Establish psychiatric diagnoses according to the American Psychiatric Association Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Disorders
Provide psychological treatment for individuals and groups; help medical and surgical patients deal with illnesses or injuries.
Assist in rehabilitation of patient.
