About The Position

This position requires a Master's degree and relevant licensure or certification in a clinical or treatment field. The role involves working directly with individuals with developmental disabilities, focusing on the development, implementation, and monitoring of behavior support plans. Additionally, proficiency in computer systems, strong communication skills, and the ability to travel between locations are necessary.

Requirements

Master's degree in a clinical or treatment field of psychology, social work, school psychology, or applied psychology (as it relates to human development and clinical interventions) with documented training in assessment techniques and behavior support plan development OR National board certification in behavior analysis (BCBA) or a NYS License as a Behavior Analyst (LBA) OR New York State license in mental health counseling (LMHC).
Three years' experience working directly with individuals with developmental disabilities, including development, implementation, and monitoring of behavior support plans; and/or providing supervision and training to others in the implementation of behavior support plans (for BIS role).
Master's degree in Social Work and currently licensed as a New York State License Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) (for LCSW role).
One year experience working directly with individuals with developmental disabilities, including the development, implementation, and monitoring of behavior support plans (for LCSW role).
Ability to work professionally with multiple service providers at multiple sites.
Proficiency with computers/computer systems, Microsoft Office applications, and electronic documentation systems.
Demonstrated effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Must be well organized and self-directed with ability to work in a changing environment, be flexible and make decisions while utilizing sound judgment and analytical problem-solving skills.
Demonstrated initiative, adaptability, sound judgment, creativity, and ability to work collaboratively with employees and leadership.
Valid NYS driver's license meeting organization requirements.

Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and monitor behavior support plans for individuals with developmental disabilities.
Provide supervision and training to others in the implementation of behavior support plans.
Work professionally with multiple service providers at multiple sites.
Travel between locations as required.
