About The Position

Elevate Counseling is a growing group practice with offices in Westmont and downtown Chicago, dedicated to holistic care, personal growth, and creating a stigma-free environment. We are seeking a full-time Clinical Psychologist (PsyD or PhD) to join our diverse team of over 25 therapists. The role offers autonomy to build a caseload aligned with clinical passions, supported by a strong administrative and clinical team. The psychologist will provide evidence-based therapy to various client populations including Teens, Adults, Couples, Families, BIPOC, and the LGBTQ+ community. There is an optional opportunity to conduct psychological assessments for ADHD, neurodiversity, and diagnostic clarification. The position allows for specialization in areas such as trauma, anxiety, sports performance, or couples work, with a caseload tailored to clinical strengths. Collaboration and peer support are highly encouraged in a warm, team-oriented environment. The role offers flexibility in choosing between the Westmont office, the Chicago office, or a hybrid schedule.

Requirements

  • A Doctoral degree in Clinical or Counseling Psychology (PsyD or PhD) from an APA-accredited program.
  • Active, unrestricted license to practice as a Clinical Psychologist in the state of Illinois (or currently license-eligible).
  • The ability and desire to conduct psychological assessments.
  • A culturally competent, trauma-informed approach to therapy.
  • A collaborative, positive attitude and a desire to be part of a "fun and growing" group practice.

Nice To Haves

  • Specialized training or certifications in modalities like EMDR, CBT, IFS, DBT.
  • Experience running intensives or support groups.

Responsibilities

  • Provide highly effective, evidence-based therapy to ideal client populations (Teens, Adults, Couples, Families, BIPOC, and the LGBTQ+ community).
  • Conduct psychological assessments (e.g., ADHD, neurodiversity, diagnostic clarification) - this is highly valued.
  • Utilize and tailor caseloads to clinical specialties such as trauma, anxiety, sports performance, or couples work.
  • Collaborate and consult with colleagues in a warm, team-oriented environment.
  • Participate in case consultation and peer support.
