The mission of Ravenswood Family Health Network (RFHN) is to improve the health of the community by providing culturally sensitive, integrated primary and preventative health care to all, regardless of ability to pay or immigration status, and collaborating with community partners to address the social determinants of health. Under the direction of the Integrated Behavioral Health Services (IBHS) and Social Services Director, the Clinical Psychologist conducts brief psychosocial assessments, short-term behavioral health treatment, crisis interventions, provider consultations, educational trainings, and referrals to appropriate community resources. The Clinical Psychologist helps develop, nurture, and sustain community resources as well as plans and implements strategies to improve the overall health and well-being of our patients and families. As an active member of the IBHS team, this role contributes to team goal-setting, participates in case conferencing, and acts as a consultant to medical providers, their support staff, and other departments. The Clinical Psychologist is also expected to participate in the Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH) model and other quality improvement efforts.
