About The Position

Brightline is seeking a full-time Clinical Psychologist to provide onsite and virtual care at its Albany clinic. The role delivers evidence-based mental health care to children, teens, and families, including comprehensive care for youth up to age 18, psychological testing, and diagnostic evaluations. The psychologist collaborates with multidisciplinary teams, participates in peer consultation and professional development, and may take part in community engagement and outreach.

Requirements

Availability during Brightline’s peak hours of 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Unrestricted doctoral-level license to practice in New York State.
Extensive experience delivering evidence-based care for concerns such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, behavioral issues, trauma, autism, and other presentations.
Strong knowledge of current clinical research and commitment to staying updated on empirical advancements.
Clear understanding of and deep commitment to ethical standards of care.
Experience providing care both in person and virtually.
Experience conducting psychological testing and diagnostic evaluations across a variety of presenting concerns for youth and families.

Nice To Haves

Training in the ADOS-2 is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive care to youth up to age 18, including diagnostic evaluations and care plan development.
Use evidence-based interventions with youth and their caregivers, applying measurement-based care best practices.
Conduct psychological testing for common concerns, including learning disorders, executive functioning, and autism spectrum disorders.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and engage in peer consultation.
Participate in continuous professional development.
Participate in community engagement and outreach opportunities as needed.
