About The Position

As a Remote Clinical Psychologist with Global Behavior Education Alliance, LLC, you will be an integral part of our mission to support individuals and families through accurate evaluation and diagnosis of autism spectrum disorders. In this role, you will leverage secure telehealth technology to provide high-quality, compassionate care. GBE Alliance is comprised of a network of licensed individuals who specialize in autism spectrum disorders to provide telehealth and direct services for individuals with autism and their families-paving a way for a brighter future. We pride ourselves on being an all-encompassing resource, providing autism evaluations for a clinical diagnosis, ABA treatment, speech therapy, and occupational therapy. Experts in the field have formed an alliance to help families in Tennessee and Kentucky access high-quality, compassionate ABA services tailored to their child's unique needs.

Requirements

  • Licensed Psychologist in the State of Tennessee.
  • Endorsed HSPP (Health Service Provider in Psychology) as required.
  • At least one year of work experience in ADOS-2 and other diagnostic testing specific to autism spectrum disorders.
  • Strong written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in telehealth technology and remote service delivery.
  • Compassion and a strong commitment to improving the lives of children with autism and their families.
  • Preliminary screening for all candidates
  • Submit a written sample of ASD report with the application.
  • Consider HIPPA guidelines prior to submitting the written sample.

  • Once hired, training will be provided to the existing electronic health record (EHR), billing and to the existing infrastructure of ASD report.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct diagnostic evaluations for children and adolescents with suspected ASD, implementing the ADOS-2 (in-person) or Tele-ASD- Peds (Telehealth), CARS-2 along with other relevant assessment tools.
  • Drafting thorough diagnostic reports to meet requirements by insurance payors.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in compliance with relevant regulations and best practices.
  • Ability to complete 8 evaluations every week and submit the written report in a reasonable timeframe.
  • Review of diagnostic findings with families to recommend appropriate services.
  • Some travel may be required to perform in-person assessments within region.
  • Ongoing continuing education (CEUs) for best clinical practice as it relates to ASD evaluations and diagnostic testing tools.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed.
