About The Position

We are seeking a Montana LCPC to provide high-quality remote counseling for clients who need accessible mental health support. This is a full-time clinical position focused on direct therapy, thoughtful care planning, and consistent follow-through with clients. The counselor in this role will help clients identify challenges, work through difficult emotions, reduce symptoms, and create practical strategies for day-to-day stability. Sessions are held remotely, with documentation and care coordination completed through online systems.

Requirements

Active Montana LCPC license in good standing
Master’s degree in Counseling, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field
Experience providing individual therapy in an outpatient, private practice, community mental health, or telehealth setting
Comfortable using telehealth platforms, EHR systems, and secure online communication tools
Strong clinical assessment, treatment planning, and documentation skills
Ability to manage a full-time caseload with professionalism and consistency
Knowledge of HIPAA, client confidentiality, and telehealth best practices

Responsibilities

Provide scheduled telehealth counseling sessions for individuals
Review presenting concerns, symptoms, client history, and treatment priorities
Prepare clinical treatment plans and update them as care progresses
Use counseling interventions suited to each client’s needs and goals
Support clients with anxiety, depression, stress management, trauma-related symptoms, grief, family concerns, and major life changes
Complete all required notes, assessments, and treatment documentation
Maintain clinical records that are accurate, organized, and compliant
Follow safety protocols for clients who report self-harm, harm to others, or crisis-related concerns
