About The Position

We are seeking a Montana LCPC to provide high-quality remote counseling for clients who need accessible mental health support. This is a full-time clinical position focused on direct therapy, thoughtful care planning, and consistent follow-through with clients. The counselor in this role will help clients identify challenges, work through difficult emotions, reduce symptoms, and create practical strategies for day-to-day stability. Sessions are held remotely, with documentation and care coordination completed through online systems. This remote LCPC position offers a steady Monday–Friday schedule, a salary range of $115,000–$120,000 per year, and a full benefits package. The work setting is telehealth, allowing you to provide therapy to clients in Montana from a private remote workspace.

Requirements

  • Active Montana LCPC license in good standing
  • Master’s degree in Counseling, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field
  • Experience providing individual therapy in an outpatient, private practice, community mental health, or telehealth setting
  • Comfortable using telehealth platforms, EHR systems, and secure online communication tools
  • Strong clinical assessment, treatment planning, and documentation skills
  • Ability to manage a full-time caseload with professionalism and consistency
  • Knowledge of HIPAA, client confidentiality, and telehealth best practices

Responsibilities

  • Provide scheduled telehealth counseling sessions for individuals
  • Review presenting concerns, symptoms, client history, and treatment priorities
  • Prepare clinical treatment plans and update them as care progresses
  • Use counseling interventions suited to each client’s needs and goals
  • Support clients with anxiety, depression, stress management, trauma-related symptoms, grief, family concerns, and major life changes
  • Complete all required notes, assessments, and treatment documentation
  • Maintain clinical records that are accurate, organized, and compliant
  • Follow safety protocols for clients who report self-harm, harm to others, or crisis-related concerns
