Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC)
About The Position
A full-time Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor is needed to provide telehealth therapy for clients throughout Kansas. The focus is on helping adults better understand what they are experiencing, build healthier coping skills, and work through concerns that may be affecting their mood, relationships, work, or daily routines. Your day may include video sessions, clinical assessments, treatment planning, progress notes, and follow-up care. Clients may be facing burnout, loss, persistent worry, low mood, trauma-related symptoms, or difficult personal transitions. The work is structured, practical, and centered on steady clinical support.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Counseling, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field
- Active Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) license in Kansas
- Experience in outpatient therapy, private practice, community mental health, or telehealth
- Comfortable using video platforms and electronic health record systems
- Strong documentation skills and sound clinical judgment
- Private workspace and reliable internet connection for remote sessions
Responsibilities
- Conduct virtual counseling sessions with clients across Kansas
- Assess client concerns and determine appropriate treatment goals
- Provide therapy for emotional, behavioral, and mental health concerns
- Support clients with coping skills, stress management, self-awareness, and symptom reduction
- Document session notes, care plans, risk concerns, and progress updates on time
- Maintain professional boundaries and protect client privacy in all remote communication
- Refer clients to additional care when telehealth counseling is not the right level of support
