About The Position

This is a full-time, remote position for a Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist (LCMFT) in Maryland. The role involves working with individuals, couples, and families through scheduled video appointments, focusing on various issues such as relationship difficulties, family conflict, communication problems, emotional stress, or major life changes. The therapist will be responsible for their caseload and clinical decisions, managing their time for sessions, case notes, treatment updates, and coordination of care.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related clinical field
• Active Maryland LCMFT license
• Clinical experience working with individuals, couples, and families
• Strong assessment, treatment planning, and communication skills
• Ability to exercise sound clinical judgment and manage a caseload independently
• Proficiency with telehealth platforms and electronic clinical documentation

Responsibilities

• Conduct individual, couples, and family therapy sessions
• Complete intake assessments and gather relevant family and clinical history
• Determine treatment priorities and establish appropriate goals
• Use marriage and family therapy approaches suited to each case
• Review treatment and make changes when clinically appropriate
• Complete progress notes and maintain accurate clinical records
• Respond appropriately to safety or risk concerns
• Coordinate referrals or additional services when needed
• Maintain confidentiality and follow Maryland professional requirements
