Founded in 1986, Kempsville Center for Behavioral Health is a 106-bed hospital facility accredited by The Joint Commission (TJC) and licensed by the Commonwealth of Virginia and The Virginia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services (DBHDS). The Licensed Clinical Lead provides quality psychotherapeutic and discharge planning services to all patient populations and their families; provides assessment, group treatment, family work, and discharge planning; serves as a member of interdisciplinary team supporting the organization’s treatment program and philosophy.
