About The Position
Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital is now hiring a PRN Remote Licensed Behavioral Health Therapist. Must be located in Virginia. This position will be a part of the Psychiatric Emergency Response team that completes assessments for emergency department patients with mental health needs.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree – Social Work, Counseling, or other related field (Required)
- Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) - (Required)
- Must be located in Virginia.
Nice To Haves
- At least 1 years of outpatient or inpatient experience.
Responsibilities
- Assesses the social, psychological, cultural, environmental, and financial situation, as well as disposition needs, for each assigned patient.
- Collaborates with patients, families, healthcare team members, and community agencies to develop and implement plans to address identified needs.
- Evaluates effectiveness of developed plans and initiates change as needed.
