About The Position

The Licensed Behavioral Health Professional (LBHP) will assist the administrative staff in maintaining the guidelines of the program policies and procedures for client treatment. He/she will provide and maintain quality helping services to clients, and will assist clients in their attempt to reach individual treatment goals.

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology or Sociology required.
  • Licensure in counseling required; Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC); Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC); Licensed Marital and Family Therapist (LMFT); or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
  • At least two (2) years of experience with Mental Health, Substance Use Disorders, Co-Occurring Disorders, and Crisis Intervention.
  • CPR certified or within 90 days.
  • HIPAA and Privacy Act trained.
  • Must be flexible in nature and able to work as part of a team.
  • Requires a high level of personal integrity and ethics.
  • Requires familiarity with Oklahoma Health Care Authority and Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services requirements for services, documentation and billing.
  • Requires familiarity with planning concepts and processes including but not limited to program planning.
  • Requires ability to use Microsoft Office Suite programs.
  • Requires good interpersonal communication and team work skills.
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
  • Must be able to pass drug/alcohol testing.
  • Must have a clean driving record – may be required to drive GSA or tribal vehicles.

  • PhD preferred.

  • Maintain strong patient chart documentation skills.
  • Prioritize and multitask independently.
  • Learn new skills, including travel to conferences and training sessions.
