About The Position

At OneEighty, we are dedicated to restoring dignity and purpose, reimagining potential, and rebuilding lives. We are a private, non-profit organization serving Wayne and Holmes counties in Ohio, providing comprehensive addiction, domestic violence, mental health, and behavioral health services. We are seeking to hire Licensed Behavioral Health Counselors or Social Workers to join our Clinical Department. These roles offer the opportunity to make a significant positive impact on the lives of individuals and contribute to their well-being.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree or PhD in Counseling, Social Work or Psychology required.
  • Licensed in Ohio or license eligible.
  • May not currently receive clinical services at OneEighty.
  • If in recovery must have two years of continuous sobriety.
  • Must have a valid Ohio Driver License and maintain a driving record that allows the individual to be insurable with the insurance company providing OneEighty’s vehicle insurance.
  • Must be eligible for an NPI number and an Ohio Medicaid number for billing purposes.
  • Must be certified in CPR/First Aid or able to attain certification.
  • Must be trained in administering Narcan.
  • Ability to use a computer; proficiency in Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, Excel Teams, Electronic Health Record and collaboration platforms (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, RingCentral).
  • Ability to work independently and manage crises.
  • Must have verbal and written communication skills which support the ability to submit accurate documentation and effectively communicate.
  • Excellent listening skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to relate to people of diverse backgrounds.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of client issues and agency matters as defined by professional ethics and applicable laws.
  • Maintain therapeutic relationship with appropriate boundaries.
  • Maintain records in accordance with standards established by professional organizations and national organizations.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of substance abuse and addiction treatment preferred.
  • Knowledge of the dynamics of domestic violence and sexual assault and experience working with victims/survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Admissions and completing assessments, working closely with the intake department.
  • Providing outpatient substance abuse disorder and mental health services.
  • Facilitating groups with a primary focus on group facilitation and substance use.
  • Providing outpatient mental health services, including substance use issues, for both adults and teens.
  • Treating complex mental and behavioral health needs.
  • Using a computer; proficiency in Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, Excel Teams, Electronic Health Record and collaboration platforms (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, RingCentral).
  • Working independently and managing crises.
