Requirements
- Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) OR Master's Degree in Psychology, Counseling, Clinical Mental Health, Professional Clinical Counseling or related field with concentration in Marriage and Family Therapy or Social Work
- Community Health System approved crisis intervention training completed within 60 days of hire or transfer into position required
- 2 years of post-graduate mental health therapy experience required
- LCSW - State of California Licensed Clinical Social Worker OR LMFT - State of California Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist OR LPCC - State of California Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor
- BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required
Nice To Haves
- Experience in behavioral health preferred
- Experience in an inpatient or outpatient care setting preferred
Responsibilities
- Provides all aspects of psychosocial mental and behavioral health services including primarily brief short-term individual and group therapy, diagnostic evaluations, assessments, treatment planning, care coordination, and case management.
- Interviews patients and facilitates discussion around diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Provides case coordination, client advocacy, and linkage to outpatient services as needed.
- Participates in multi-disciplinary treatment team.
- May provide clinical supervision to unlicensed clinicians.
