About The Position

Terros Health is seeking a Licensed Associate Clinician for their Recovery Counseling Program at the Priest Dr. Recovery Center in Tempe, AZ. This is a full-time, employed position operating Monday through Friday during day shifts. The role involves providing outpatient individual, group, and family supportive counseling to clients, charting progress, maintaining clinical records, and ensuring treatment plan implementation. The clinician will monitor and follow up on client needs, conduct re-assessments, and coordinate services with case managers, medical providers, and other clinic staff. A small part of the role may include providing in-home counseling sessions. Services must adhere to all licensure, state, and federal laws, and TERROS Policies and Procedures. The position may involve signing off on the work of non-licensed staff.

Requirements

Master's degree, i.e., MA, MC, MSW, in a behavioral health field.
Arizona license or eligible for Arizona license.
Experience practicing in one of the licenses listed below: Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (LAMFT), Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC), Licensed Associate Addiction Counselor (LAAC), Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), Licensed marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) by the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners, Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) by the Arizona State Board of Behavioral Health Examiners, Licensed Independent Addiction Counselor (LIAC) by the Arizona State Board of Behavioral Health Examiners.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and EHRs.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Must have or be able to attain CPR/First Aid certification within 60 days of assuming role.
Valid AZ Driver License.
Must have valid Arizona driver’s license, be 22 years of age with minimum 3 years driving experience, and meet requirements of Terros Health’s driving policy.
Must have a valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance card (Level 1) or apply for an Arizona Fingerprint Clearance card within 7 working days of employment.
Must pass a TB Test.

Responsibilities

Providing outpatient individual, group, and family supportive counseling to clients.
Charts progress, maintains clinical records, and ensures implementation of treatment plans.
