Requirements

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

  • Ability to stay current with best practices in nursing and psychiatric care.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluating, planning, implementing, and documenting nursing care for psychiatric patients.
  • Assisting physicians during psychiatric assessments and mental status examinations.
  • Conducting individual and group psychotherapy sessions.
  • Leading medication education group sessions.
  • Administering medications according to physician orders.
  • Assisting patients in developing effective self-care techniques.
  • Collaborating with other health professionals to achieve continuity of care.
  • Staying informed about changes in nursing practices.
  • Participating in nursing performance improvement programs to enhance patient safety and healthcare compliance.
