About The Position

This role is for a License Practical Nurse in a Women's Health Center. The nurse will assist physicians with treatments and procedures, monitor patient vital signs, intake, and output, and record patient history. Key responsibilities include reporting patient health status data, identifying patient goals, collaborating with the clinical team, administering medications and injections within the scope of the license, maintaining clean and stocked patient care areas, and documenting patient activities and observations. The role also involves assisting with patient scheduling, authorizations, referrals, cross-covering multiple practices, rooming patients, and overseeing patient flow.

Responsibilities

Assisting the physician in treatments and procedures
Monitoring of patient's vital signs, patient intake and output, and recording patient history
Reports data relating to patient's health status to appropriate clinical staff
Identifies patient goals, communicates, and collaborates with clinical team to support patient care plan
Administration of medication, injections and functions in the scope of the license
Cleaning of equipment in patient care areas
Maintain patient care rooms to ensure they are kept clean, and supplies are well stocked.
Maintain records of patient activities and observations
Submit records to the appropriate clinical staff regarding patient's condition
Assist with scheduling patients, authorizations and referrals to support office staff as needed
Cross-cover multiple practices
Rooming patients
Overseeing patient flow
