About The Position
Stranger Soccer is seeking an entrepreneurial License Owner to launch and grow its local football operation in Chicago. The role involves building, operating, and growing the Stranger Soccer brand locally and creating an impact in the community. The License Owner will work with Stranger Soccer’s Singapore headquarters and receive support from its operations and technology teams. Stranger Soccer uses an app that lets players discover games, book a spot, and turn up to play. Founded in Singapore, the company is expanding across cities worldwide and aims to make playing football simple, accessible, and convenient.
Requirements
- Passion for football and involvement in the local football community.
- Experience in management, operations, or customer service.
- An entrepreneurial mindset and desire to build a business.
- Ability to take ownership and grow the Stranger Soccer brand locally.
- Strong drive, resilience, and a results-oriented attitude.
Responsibilities
- Launch and grow Stranger Soccer in Chicago.
- Build and manage a local team, including staff and Official Hosts.
- Secure suitable football venues.
- Drive marketing and customer acquisition to grow the player community.
- Oversee game operations and deliver an outstanding player experience.
- Work closely with the Singapore headquarters, supported by operations and technology teams.
