About The Position
Stranger Soccer is seeking an entrepreneurial individual to launch and grow its local football operation in New Jersey. This opportunity involves building and operating the business locally, growing the player community, and creating an impact in the community. The License Owner will work with Stranger Soccer’s Singapore headquarters, with support from its operations and technology teams. Stranger Soccer’s app lets players discover games, book a spot, and turn up to play. The company, founded in Singapore, is expanding across cities worldwide. Its mission is to make playing football as easy as going for a jog, and its vision is a world where playing football is as popular and accessible as watching football.
Requirements
- Passion for football and involvement in the local football community.
- Experience in management, operations, or customer service.
- An entrepreneurial mindset and a desire to build a business.
- Ability to take ownership and grow the Stranger Soccer brand locally.
- Strong drive, resilience, and a results-oriented attitude.
Responsibilities
- Launch and grow Stranger Soccer in New Jersey.
- Build and manage a local team, including staff and Official Hosts.
- Secure suitable football venues.
- Drive marketing and customer acquisition to grow the player community.
- Oversee game operations and deliver an outstanding player experience.
- Work closely with the Singapore headquarters, supported by operations and technology teams.
