About The Position

The Military Intelligence Library Technician at USAICoE will support library operations and customer service, including research and educational needs for instructors and students. This role involves conducting circulation and member services, maintaining the library's collection, providing reference assistance, educating users about library services, and offering technical services such as cataloging and interlibrary loans. The technician will also support research and training on MI history and coordinate daily functions with USAICoE faculty.

Requirements

MUST have a SECRET CLEARANCE
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
Experience with curating, archiving or cataloging
High School Education (or equivalent)

Nice To Haves

Experience in Library services or similar related field

Responsibilities

Support library operations and customer service to include supporting the research and educational needs of all instructors and students during scheduled hours of operation.
Conduct circulation and member services for the MI Library.
Maintain the MI Library's collection.
Provide reference service for students and cadre.
Provide assistance and recommendation to course managers.
Educate user about library services and products.
Provide technical services for, but not limited to, cataloging, interlibrary loans, shelving of books, and content management for the MI Library.
Support research and provide training on MI history.
Coordinate daily functions with USAICoE faculty.
