About The Position

The Library Technician maintains the library collection at school sites, implements age-appropriate programs for students using library resources, selects appropriate materials in support of classroom instruction, and educates students on the proper use of library resources and applicable technology.

This position is located at B.T. Washington and works 6 hours per day for 9.75 months per year. The tentative schedule is 8:45 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. The listed monthly salary range is $2,243.36–$2,724.40, Step 16 A–E, based on verified related experience up to five years.

Requirements

• Meet one of the following: two years of study at an institution of higher education resulting in an associate’s degree or higher; or successful passage of a formal local academic assessment or ECESD Competency Exam.
