About The Position
The Easton Area School District is seeking a Long Term Substitute Library Science Teacher for Elementary schools for the 1st Semester of the 2026-2027 School Year. This position is anticipated to be at March/Forks Elementary School. Candidates must hold or be eligible for a Pennsylvania Instructional Certificate in the appropriate area. The selected candidate will demonstrate a strong academic record, provide excellent educational references and related experience, show knowledge of current educational research, and successfully complete interviews and meet all local requirements.

- Submit a PA Standard Teaching Application (external applicants).
- Submit a Letter of Interest.
- Submit a Resume.
- Submit three current Letters of Recommendation (within one year) (external applicants).
- Submit a Copy of Teaching Certificate (external applicants).
- Submit a Copy of college/university transcripts (external applicants).
- Provide Act 34 PSP Criminal Record Check.
- Provide Act 114 FBI Criminal History Check.
- Provide Act 151 Child Abuse Clearance.
- Provide Act 24/82 PDE 6004 form.
Responsibilities
- Provide instruction in Library Science for elementary students.
- Manage school library resources and operations.
- Collaborate with other educators to support student learning.
