About The Position

This is a student position with the County of Lambton's Cultural Services division. The role involves shelving collections, assisting with processing and organizing materials, and fulfilling requests from Cultural Services staff. The position requires the physical ability to perform the duties and responsibilities outlined in the job description and its associated Physical Demands Analysis. The County of Lambton is an urban-rural area in southwestern Ontario serving over 126,000 residents through various programs and services across seven divisions.

Responsibilities

• Shelve collections in established order (e.g. Dewey Decimal classification)
• Tidy shelves
• May assist with program preparation/delivery
• Assist with locating materials to fulfil requests
• Assist with processing collections
• Assist with organizing collections
