About The Position
This position involves shelving collections in a prompt and efficient manner. The role also includes assisting with processing and organizing collections, as well as fulfilling requests from Cultural Services staff. The County of Lambton is an urban-rural area in southwestern Ontario with over 126,000 residents, and its seven divisions operate various programs and services for the residents, including 25 library branches.
Requirements
- Must be enrolled in a high school or post-secondary program or a participant of an employment initiative with organizations supporting individuals with disabilities

Responsibilities
- Shelve collections in established order (e.g. Dewey Decimal classification)
- Tidy shelves
- May assist with program preparation/delivery
- Assist with locating materials to fulfil requests
- Assist with processing collections
- Assist with organizing collections
