About The Position

Grants Pass School District No. 7 is seeking a Library Manager for Allen Dale Elementary for the 2026-2027 school year. This is an 8-hour per day position, working 197 days from August to June. The district is committed to a learning community focused on excellence and success for all students, empowering them to reach their potential and become responsible citizens.

Requirements

Equivalent to completion of the twelfth grade
Two years of college study OR an associate’s (or higher) degree OR a passing score on the District’s reading, writing and math assessment
Technology skills required
Knowledge of standard library practices
Knowledge of basic reference materials
Knowledge of business English, spelling and punctuation

Nice To Haves

Bilingual and biliterate in Spanish preferred

Responsibilities

Catalog instructional materials
Provide assistance to students
Teach library skills
Instruct and supervise student aides
Establish and maintain cooperative relationships with fellow employees
Get along well with students
Other duties as assigned

Benefits

$18.98-$27.42 per hour dependent on approved accepted experience/education
Annual COLA pay increase (as negotiated with Oregon Association of Classified Employees)
