Library Assistant In Silt- Part-Time
About The Position
Our Silt Branch Library is seeking a passionate and service-oriented professional to join our talented team as a Library Assistant. In this role, you'll contribute to the community while fostering a positive, supportive, and fun work environment. Library Assistants provide excellent customer service across all major areas of public library service, including: Helping patrons at the information desk, Assisting with check-outs, holds, and returns, Guiding readers to just the right materials, Offering technology support for devices, computers, and printers, Connecting people with community resources, Creating engaging, eye-catching library displays, Supporting day-to-day branch operations. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One (1) year of clerical or customer service experience with technology proficiency (Microsoft Suite, Apple products, web browsers)
Nice To Haves
- Associate's degree or higher
- Bilingual Spanish/English skills
