About The Position
Houston Community College (HCC) is seeking an exceptional individual to join their team as a Library Assistant. This role is part of the Northwest (Part-time) Staff Pool and plays a central role in keeping everyday operations running smoothly. The ideal candidate will be tech-savvy, focused on process improvement, and a Student Champion with a talent for developing partnerships with communities and individuals. Requirements
- High school or GED required.
- One (1) year experience in customer service.
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Ability to organize information
- Ability to work independently
- Computer skills required
- Ability to interact professionally with faculty and students
Nice To Haves
- Customer service in a library preferred.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
- Experience using People Soft skill preferred.
