Plans and implements a program which creates an environment where students can learn and develop optimally. Assumes responsibility for the design and evaluation of the school library. Provides the leadership and expertise necessary to ensure that the school library program and collection is aligned with the mission, goals and objectives of the school and the school district, and is an integral component of the learning/instructional program. Administers policies and procedures necessary to maintain an adequate school library. Competencies and Performance Standards will be used for librarian evaluation in conjunction with measures of student growth. Measures of student growth will be aligned with the Caddo Parish Public School System’s accountability measures as outlined in the Louisiana Accountability System.
