Koniag Professional Services, LLC (KPS), a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a Librarian to support KPS and our government customer. This position is remote and requires the candidate to be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance. The Librarian will manage, curate, organize, preserve, and disseminate specialized health information resources related to minority health, health disparities, health equity, cultural competency, and related public health topics. This role supports the mission of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Office of Minority Health (OMH), by ensuring timely access to authoritative and evidence-based information for researchers, policymakers, healthcare professionals, community organizations, and the public. The Librarian maintains the U.S. government’s largest digital library collection on minority health topics, providing expert research, reference, literature review, and information management services through a web-based knowledge center. The position also involves managing library subscriptions, maintaining vendor relationships, supporting records management and copyright compliance, and contributing to outreach and technical assistance activities. The role operates within a federally regulated environment, requiring adherence to federal records management, accessibility, privacy, information security, and plain language requirements. The ideal candidate will possess analytical and problem-solving skills, be resourceful, and able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating patience and adaptability.
