About The Position

The Logistics Liaison Officer (LNO) serves as the primary coordination point between contractor logistics operations and Pacific Air Forces (PACAF), government organizations, and supported unit J4 staff in support of ILS2 Task Order execution. This role facilitates communication, aligns operational requirements, resolves coordination challenges, and provides visibility into logistics support activities to ensure mission success. The LNO acts as a trusted interface between contractor personnel and supported organizations, helping synchronize logistics priorities, resources, and operational requirements across stakeholders. This position focuses on external coordination, communication, and stakeholder engagement and does not perform logistics execution, supply chain planning, or program-level oversight functions. This position is contingent upon award of the contract.

Requirements

Typically requires a college or University Degree in Business related disciplines that focus on Supply Chain, Purchasing and/or Logistics or the related combination of education and experience that provides knowledge and exposure to the fundamental theories, principles and concepts within the specified discipline.
Typically requires 10 to 15 years of relevant experience.
Experience supporting logistics operations within military, government, or contractor environments.
Demonstrated ability to coordinate activities across multiple organizations and stakeholders.
Knowledge of logistics support processes, operational coordination, and mission support activities.
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to resolve complex issues and operate effectively in high-visibility, mission-critical environments.
Ability to obtain and maintain required security clearances.

Nice To Haves

Experience supporting U.S. Air Force, PACAF, Joint, or Combatant Command operations.
Previous experience serving as a Liaison Officer (LNO) or in a military coordination role.
Familiarity with air mobility, logistics support, operational planning, or expeditionary operations.
Experience supporting high-visibility or mission-critical defense programs.
Knowledge of DoD logistics processes, J4 operations, and military planning frameworks.
Prior military service or military logistics experience.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary logistics liaison between contractor operations and PACAF, government personnel, and supported unit J4 staff.
Coordinate logistics requirements, priorities, and communications across multiple organizations and stakeholders.
Facilitate the resolution of operational issues affecting logistics support activities and mission execution.
Provide visibility into logistics operations, resource requirements, and support priorities.
Support the integration and synchronization of contractor logistics activities with supported units and operational commands.
Prepare reports, status updates, meeting materials, and coordination documentation.
Develop and maintain effective working relationships with military, government, and contractor personnel.
