This role involves reviewing new liability claims, setting initial reserves, organizing files, and scanning documents into the liability claims system (BIPD). Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated, team player
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and meet mandatory deadlines
Responsibilities
- Review liability accident information entered into the liability claims system for accuracy.
- Communicate with service center personnel regarding any issues or missing information with entering claims information into the liability claims system.
- Organize the placement of files, photographs and documents for maximum efficiency including filing and scanning of documents in the liability claims system.
- Review information contained in police reports and advise safety of needed placement on the DOT list.
- Set initial property damage reserves based on review of information and determine which claims have subrogation potential.
- Maintain all closed files and coordinate disposal when appropriate.
- Order police reports from various law enforcement agencies nationwide.
