About The Position

A Large Format Screen Printer 3 is responsible for the setup, operation, quality, timeliness, and cleanup of assigned screen printing equipment in DALBs production environment. This also includes general production runs on standard substrates and standard inks.

Requirements

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to read and comprehend
Must have good judgment of color, design, and print quality.
Basic computer skills (PC)
Ability to accurately compute proportional measurements and spacing using a ruler or tape measure.
Ability to accurately operate a calculator.
Ability to follow, understand and execute direction as given to you by your supervisor.
Team mentality
Ability to provide feedback, ideas, concepts, etc. in an effective professional manor
Resourcefulness, creative problem solving and strong attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and part of a team.
Must be capable of regularly lifting up to 35 lbs. and occasionally lifting up to 75lbs. assisted.

Responsibilities

Performs daily tasks by operating a semi or fully automatic screen printing machine
Examine job orders to determine details such as Part number, quantity, colors, sequence, Graphic Orientation, Materials and production times.
Set up and run assigned machines to standard specifications.
Load/unload printer with materials
Ensure all equipment and tools are in good working order and are free of safety hazards.
Regular attendance and the ability to work overtime on short notice
Use safety equipment and protective clothing as directed.
Refill ink
Cycle count consumables
Load squeegee, flood bars, screens, ink
Assist in aligning screens
Clean up (Screen, Squeegee, Flood bars)
Keep work area clean
