About The Position

Lexus of Omaha is seeking a motivated Automotive Technician to perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs on a variety of vehicle systems. This role involves identifying mechanical and electrical concerns using proper diagnostic procedures, completing repairs accurately and efficiently while meeting dealership quality standards, and testing vehicles before and after repairs. The technician will work closely with advisors and teammates to ensure clear communication and a smooth workflow, and must stay current on new technology and repair procedures through ongoing training. Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age and have a valid driver’s license to operate a motor vehicle
At least 1+ years experience as a technician

Nice To Haves

Associates degree in Automotive preferred
ASE certifications preferred

Responsibilities

Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs on a variety of vehicle systems
Identify mechanical and electrical concerns using proper diagnostic procedures
Complete repairs accurately and efficiently while meeting dealership quality standards
Test drive vehicles before and after repairs to verify concerns are resolved
Work closely with advisors and teammates to ensure clear communication and smooth workflow
Stay current on new technology and repair procedures through ongoing training

Work Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday (with occasional Saturdays)
