Morning Caregivers Needed
About The Position
Always Best Care Senior Services is seeking experienced Level III caregivers throughout Napa and Solano County. This role is ideal for caregivers who are confident providing hands-on personal care and supporting clients with more involved daily needs. The caregiver will provide attentive care that helps seniors feel safe, comfortable, and respected at home. Along with personal care and mobility assistance, you’ll prepare meals, offer medication reminders according to the care plan, assist with light housekeeping, and provide companionship. We value caregivers who notice what needs attention, offer choices, encourage participation, and take initiative while respecting each client’s preferences.
Requirements
- Experience matters—to the senior who needs a steady hand during a transfer, the family seeking dependable support, and the person who feels more comfortable because you know how to help.
- Confident providing hands-on personal care and supporting clients with more involved daily needs.
- A valid driver’s license and a registered, insured vehicle are required.
- Male caregivers strongly encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities
- Hands-on personal care experience: Bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and incontinence care while protecting each client’s dignity.
- Safe mobility and transfer skills: Experience with gait belts, Hoyer lifts, and other transfer equipment, following the care plan and required training.
- Dementia care skills: Patience with repeated questions, thoughtful redirection, and a calm approach when a client is confused or resistant to care.
- Sound observation and communication: Recognizing changes in a client’s condition and promptly reporting concerns to the office.
- Strong documentation habits: Accurate task completion and detailed shift notes that describe the care provided and the client’s response.
- Dependability: Consistent availability, punctuality, and clear communication with the scheduling team.
- Prepare meals.
- Offer medication reminders according to the care plan.
- Assist with light housekeeping.
