This position involves performing non-destructive testing (NDT) using Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), Penetrant Testing (PT), and Ultrasonic Testing (UTT) methods. The technician will be responsible for setting up and calibrating equipment, conducting tests, and interpreting, evaluating, and documenting results. The role requires a thorough understanding of the scope and limitations of the certified methods, the ability to direct the work of trainees and Level I technicians, and familiarity with relevant codes and standards. The technician will work with minimal supervision, identify and resolve problems, and skillfully obtain, analyze, edit, and present information.
