This role operates various pieces of Mailing Services equipment for the addressing and insertion of printed products.

Requirements

Experience in a printing, lettershop, direct mail, or mailing services environment strongly preferred.
Strong knowledge and experience with running folding equipment.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with external and internal customers.
Good skills in keyboarding, reading, organization, and math skills include adding, subtracting, multiplication and division.
Knowledgeable in Inventory Control principles.
Ability to lift 50 pounds.
Good hand-eye coordination.
Ability to stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

Follow instructions accurately.
Cooperate with others in department and company to achieve company goals.
Set up and operate various mailing equipment.
Sort mail to USPS regulations.
Keep Mailing Services equipment clean and report any repairs needed to department manager.
Report time and material consumption accurately.
Preserve and pass along customer artwork in clean and undamaged condition.
Keep work area neat and clean.
Load printed materials into various types of feeders.
Monitor equipment for malfunction and perform basic adjustments to clear malfunction.
Meet or exceed production standards set for the operation being performed.
Obey company rules and observe all safety regulations.
Understand your role in the company’s Quality Management System regarding ISO.
