About The Position

This opportunity resides with All-Domain Operations (ADO), a business group within HII’s Mission Technologies division. All-Domain Operations comprises multi-domain operations, platforms and logistics, and intelligence operations. HII-Mission Technologies is seeking an Lenel OnGuard Systems Technician who plays a vital role in maintaining and safeguarding systems by performing preventive maintenance, resolving technical issues, and ensuring uninterrupted protection of mission‑essential facilities and personnel. This position requires hands‑on expertise with Lenel OnGuard Access Control Systems, strong diagnostic capabilities, and the ability to uphold rigorous security and operational standards within a high‑tempo, secure environment.

Requirements

  • Level 2: 3 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 1 year relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 7 years relevant experience.
  • Level 3: 6 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 4 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 10 years relevant experience.
  • Level 4: 10 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 8 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 14 years relevant experience.
  • Level 5: 15+ years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 13+ years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 19+ years relevant experience.
  • Experience supporting enterprise Access Control Systems.
  • Knowledge of Lenel OnGuard, SQL Server, Windows Server, access control panels, card readers, badge management, and alarm monitoring.
  • Experience installing and maintaining physical security systems.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
  • Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Lenel S2 OnGuard 8.2 Core Certification (Lenel Certified Associate – LCA)
  • Experience supporting Government, Healthcare, Military, or other secure environments.
  • Knowledge of RMF, STIGs, cybersecurity best practices, and vulnerability remediation.
  • Ability to obtain Government-required access credentials and complete mandatory compliance training.
  • Clearance: Possess and maintains a Top Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of Lenel OnGuard Access Control Systems.
  • Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain access control panels, controllers, card readers, and associated hardware.
  • Manage cardholder databases, access permissions, and user administration.
  • Monitor and respond to system alarms and operational issues.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, database, and network-related issues.
  • Support Windows Server and SQL Server environments.
  • Maintain service reports, maintenance logs, and technical documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational quality, operational, and security standards.
  • Coordinate with internal technical teams.
  • Participate in emergency support outside normal business hours when required.
