About The Position

The Lending Systems Administrator is the subject matter expert responsible for actively managing the efficiency, operation, and performance of the Consumer lending systems. This includes gathering and analyzing data in support of systems management, maintenance, and performance. Works with the pertinent business units to optimize system performance, increase automated functioning, testing, and implementing enhancements, and the periodic implementation and monitoring of system releases and enhancements and monitoring the testing and training in all environments of the lending systems as well as how they relate to the associated vendor systems. Responsible for the timely compliance review of all lending documents and managing the vendor relationships associated with the implementation and maintenance of compliant lending documents.

Requirements

  • Five years to eight years of similar or related experience.
  • A college degree.
  • Perform primarily sedentary work with limited physical exertion and occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs.
  • Must be capable of climbing / descending stairs in emergency situation.
  • Must be able to operate routine office equipment including telephone, copier, facsimile, and calculator.
  • Must be able to routinely perform work on computer for an average of 6- 8 hours per day, when necessary.
  • Must be capable of travel by automobile (as driver and passenger), commercial airlines, rental vehicles and public transportation and be able to lodge in public facilities.
  • Must be capable of regular, reliable and timely attendance.
  • Must be able to perform job functions independently and work effectively either on own or as part of a team.
  • Must be able to plan and direct the work activities of self and others.
  • Must be able to read and carry out various written instructions and follow oral instructions.
  • Must be able to speak clearly and deliver information in a logical and understandable sequence.
  • Must be capable of dealing calmly and professionally with numerous different personalities from diverse cultures at various levels within and outside of the organization and demonstrate highest levels of customer service and discretion when dealing with the public.
  • Must be able to perform responsibilities with composure under the stress of deadlines / requirements for extreme accuracy and quality and/or fast pace.
  • Must be able to effectively handle multiple, simultaneous, and changing priorities.
  • Must be capable of exercising highest level of discretion on both internal and external confidential matters.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the efficiency/effectiveness, improve the performance of, and oversee the maintenance of Community First's Consumer Lending Origination Systems.
  • Monitor and maintain the accuracy and integrity of lending data within the systems.
  • Work with the applicable business units to program and maintain advanced decisioning rules, business rules, process workflows, and decision authority levels.
  • Perform periodic analysis of lending systems to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
  • Execute initiatives to deploy the most up to date features and functionality in collaboration with business needs.
  • Build, test and implement system enhancements and review listed enhancements for recommendation to management periodic optional and required system releases.
  • Oversee installation and maintenance of hardware and software for 3rd party integrations to the lending systems.
  • Join necessary projects as the LOS SME, representing both the LOS and lending department needs and provide system assistance, testing and advancement as needs arise for both corporate and departmental projects.
  • Provide assistance and support to system users, addressing inquiries and troubleshooting issues.
  • Complete basic system maintenance and daily functions for the routine operations of the lending system.
  • Assist in the development of training materials for new and existing users to ensure effective system utilization.
  • Serve as a point of contact for user feedback and system-related inquiries.
  • Maintain and manage system designations and access.
  • Maintain the testing and training environments as well as the coordination with the production environment.
  • Gather and analyze data in support of Senior Management needs, systems management/maintenance, and Lending staff performance metrics.
  • Address needed and available system upgrades to allow for the most accurate and functional company data sets.
  • Coordinate with senior management and marketing for member and non-member lending campaign data needs.
  • Coordinate where necessary with the Lending BA and IT departments to address their needs for data exports and automation including testing and validation.
  • Address areas of departmental functionality, where automation and efficiency of the lending teams may be addressed through the creation of reporting and system enhancements.
  • Maintain and administer the lending documents integration with the LOS.
  • Keep abreast of lending compliance rules and regulations as they apply to the document application, retention and storage.
  • Address Document testing and validation in conjunction with the LOS provider and applicable lending departments.
  • Address LOS integration with the system of record to verify the accurate and timely storage of lending documents.
  • Provide assistance to lending management with requested advancements in processes as they relate to documents, document mapping, testing and storage, specifically targeting areas of automation.
  • Must comply with applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control.
