About The Position

The Lending Support Specialist I performs various support functions for the Loan Processors in Residential Mortgage and Consumer Lending. This includes various requests from operations and business partners such as regulatory disclosures, as well as working daily and multi-daily reports. Must be able to commute into one of the following office locations: Mount Laurel, NJ; Greenville, SC; or Jacksonville, FL.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
Related experience required
Knowledge of Company policy and applicable regulations
Demonstrated ability to apply standardized sets of parameters to specific problems or files in order to facilitate resolution
Basic organizational skills
Ability to prioritize activities based on business objectives
Good communication skills both written and verbal

Disclosure experience preferred

Responsibilities

Performs routine administrative duties involved in checking and verifying files, work, and information submitted by others
Ensures reviewed materials are accurate and complete
Works daily reports directed by LOB and ensure the assigned work is completed within the department's service level agreement
Does routine mailings of disclosures and letters for the LOB
Ensures own work is in compliance with applicable laws, regulations and guidelines, as detailed in policies located on Company intranet; policies included but not limited to Dodd Frank, RESPA, Fair Lending, Know Your Customer, Bank Secrecy Act and other applicable anti-money laundering policies
Performs work that is typically within standard policies and procedures but could include required research
Takes appropriate action and elevates files with concerns to supervisor
