About The Position

The Lending Servicing Specialist I provides administrative and operational support to the collateral insurance team, ensuring the accuracy of loan documentation and the timely resolution of insurance-related matters.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required
Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical abilities.
Ability to read and interpret insurance policies, departmental procedures, and general business correspondence.
Proficiency in writing clear and professional business correspondence.
Effective verbal communication skills for one-on-one and small group interactions with internal associates, insurance agents, and third-party vendors.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Strong telephone etiquette and interpersonal skills.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret government regulations, trade journals, and legal documents.
Ability to respond effectively to inquiries from associates, insurance agents, and third-party vendors.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and database applications

Nice To Haves

One year of related work experience preferred
Previous banking experience preferred

Responsibilities

Review and process weekly reports to resolve outstanding insurance exposures.
Communicate with insurance agents via phone, email, and fax to obtain and verify required documentation.
Support loan officers and loan assistants with insurance-related inquiries and requests.
Research and resolve loan-related issues in a timely and efficient manner.
Ensure compliance with loan policies and procedures by maintaining complete and accurate documentation for internal and external audits.
Achieve individual performance goals while contributing to team objectives in a collaborative environment.
Demonstrate initiative by independently setting and achieving goals and fostering a positive team environment.
Ensure all departmental activities comply with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures, including completion of required compliance training.
Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
