About The Position

The Lending Relationship Specialist II is responsible for filing, initiating correspondence, scheduling and coordinating the activities between the loan officer and the customer to ensure efficiency within the department. Also responsible for ensuring that loan processing and loan closings are conducted in a prompt manner, as well as selling bank products and services while providing quality service to all Bank customers.

Requirements

Two to five years of similar or related experience required.
General computer and typing experience
Microsoft Office Suite, to include Excel, Work, and Outlook
Extensive reading as needed.
Driving and travel, as needed for business purpose.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to handle multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

Sells and cross sells Bank products to new and established customers by assessing the customer’s needs and being knowledgeable of the features and benefits of the products.
Performs duties for department’s staff in an accurate and efficient manner such as: prepares documentation and correspondence, delivering mail within the department, answering phone, scheduling appointments, preparing, and maintaining desk files and coordinating activities between loan officers and loan customers.
Prepares loan advances, renewals, extensions, and amendments and assists Loan Officers with loan closings and funding.
Reviews and resolves credit and collateral exceptions.
Files Deeds of Trusts, titles, and UCC’s in an accurate and efficient manner.
Assists Loan Officer in compiling information for credit analysis, ordering credit bureau and Dun and Bradstreet reports.
Obtain required information from prospective customers and/or existing customers for collateral and credit files.
File Deeds of Trusts, Titles and UCC’s.
Resolve unposted loan items on a daily basis.
Quote loan payoffs and initiate loan payoff letters as instructed.
Send all lending documents to loan administration, ensuring that all exceptions are removed.
May make payment decisions, with approval from banking center president or department head.
Maintains a thorough knowledge of Bank products, services, policies, procedures, and appropriate regulatory issues as related to daily job functions including but not limited to: Bank Secrecy Act; Privacy Act: Fair Lending Act; Regulation E, etc. up to date knowledge of competitors’ products and pricing.
Completes required compliance training and adheres to the Bank’s standard of conduct.
Participates in the bank’s High-Performance Rewards Connections program.
Make referrals to the Mortgage Center and Wealth Management.
Performs other duties as assigned.
