About The Position

CountryPlace Mortgage is a nationwide personal property and mortgage lender. We are looking for a Lending Associate to join our loan production team in our Plano, TX office. This role plays a crucial part in our growing production unit. Responsible for performing a detailed review of loan documentation. This includes reviewing the credit application, credit reports, income documentation, asset documentation and any other loan documentation required to render a credit decision.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Desire to learn and grow
• Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S.
• Display excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
• Employ a strong sense of urgency and ownership
• Demonstrate a professional work ethic in all facets of completing work duties

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze loan application, credit report, income and asset documentation to render credit decision in compliance with investor guidelines
• Effectively communicate the loan approval or denial reasons to appropriate party
• Work with internal staff to provide follow up, counter offers and additional information
• Refer loan requests with recommendations and documentation to underwriters
• Reviews conditions submitted on approved loans and clears conditions when appropriate
• Insure loans adhere to investor guidelines
• Ability to adjust work and thought process to accommodate multiple investor guidelines
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned
